Spending money on marketing is certainly not a requirement and will not prevent you from growing a site. I typically like to see a site grow organically with free methods before considering paid advertisements. 

If you do not already have a website set-up that you plan to work on, you may need to reserve a small budget to purchase a domain name and hosting. A domain costs roughly $10-$15 per year and a starter hosting package can run $5-$8 per month.

If you do have a budget, you can also choose to acquire an existing website that has traffic and revenue to accelerate the process. This of course is completely optional.

First, it’s important to note that you will start by looking at exactly what your goals are. Not just how much money you want the site to make but how much time you want to spend on your site, the type of work you enjoy the most and so on. That is how you develop a plan that fits your goals and your lifestyle.

With that being said, how much money your website makes depends on a number of factors including the type of website you build, the market size, the monetization plan you implement, the promotion plan you execute and others.

The results you achieve in this program will be a direct reflection of 1) the plan you create and 2) the consistent action you take to implement that plan.

Time isn’t what defines success. Consistent action (even small consistent steps), does. 

Time may determine how fast you see the results but if you have lots of time and you don’t consistently take action or you use the wrong plan, you won’t see results.
